I am an avid user of my ipod in the car. I have tried several different fm transmitters in the past and have had too many problems with static and with other interference. I remembered my parents having a similar item to this before cd players were standard in new cars, so I decided to give it a try. I really cannot think of anything negative about my experience with this product. Beyond the fact that this item does not feel extremely durable, it does it's job well. I have not experienced any buzzing, ticking, static or anything else that other similar products produced. I would recommend this to anyone who still has an old tape deck in their car or who has had too much trouble with interference on a fm transmitter.

We bought 3 of these. We've tried them in four different cars and all of them have worked fine for playing our iPods. You do need to be very careful not to yank on the cord or get it caught under a seat because it will detach easily.
We've also started keeping them hidden since we think one of our car windows was smashed because someone saw the tape ; cord and hoped they would find an iPod...
